Balance AV Systems has provided production services for the best events in Southern Colorado, and it starts with our team. Yes, we use world-class equipment to provide a next-level experience, but the secret is our people and approach. Our attention to detail and years of practice inform every level of each event — from the concertgoer to the artist and, especially, the client.
And we do all of this with your budget in mind. We’re not out to sell you the most expensive sound system we can build; our goal is to provide a high-end experience that you can afford.
Indoor/Outdoor
Putting on a show during the Covid-19 pandemic requires creative thinking and the right partner to thoughtfully develop and then perfectly execute strategy. Whether you’re putting on a socially distanced indoor show or an outdoor concert in a unique space, we can help you with that plan. We’re experts at making big sound fit any event and working within strict sound-level restrictions (SPL limits).
Our ability to model a venue utilizing 3D design software Vectorworks allows us to create a virtual replica of your space. This cutting-edge modeling system provides a remote “trial-and-error” environment without taking any true risk. Working as your partner, we’ll experiment with placement of various elements throughout the venue to guarantee the perfect combination of aesthetic, safety and functionality.
That way, when the day comes, we’ll get it right the first time.
Large events
We’re honored to have provided event production services for Fort Carson Freedom Fest, which draws more than 20,000 attendees each year. There, we’ve worked with artists like Morgan Wallen, Hardy, Eli Young Band and Mitchell Tenpenny, providing audio, lighting, video, power and staging services.
We provide concert-production solutions to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks organization and promoter Jon Eddy Productions, working with artists who are used to (and demand) the very best. This rider-driven events experience has provided us with the tools to accommodate nearly every need at any event, no matter how big or small.
Midsize events
The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs hosts outdoor, parking-lot events featuring artists accustomed to playing on much larger stages than the space allows — and under strict sound-level restrictions. When providing services for artists like Black Label Society, Avatar, Insane Clown Posse, Ritz, Mushroomhead, Tech N9ne, Sevendust and Hollywood Undead at The Black Sheep, we successfully produce world-class shows while managing expectations unique to the venue.
Engaged gatherings
We recognize there’s an underserved need in Southern Colorado for world-class AV production at meaningful, smaller gatherings like church services and personal celebrations. We know the ins and outs of sound and lighting design, no matter the venue size, and have a specialized focus on bringing engaging, big-budget sound to worship, praise and celebration.

Equipment
We own a workhorse JBL Vertec VT4888 line array system. The system is expandable and can be used with as few as four speakers on each side for smaller shows, or 12 on each side for events with as many as 10,000 attendees. It’s driven by Lab Gruppen power amplifiers for high-frequency devices and Crown I-Tech amps for subwoofers.
Our loudspeaker selection includes manufacturers and brands Electro-Voice, EAW and more. We provide world-class digital mixing systems including the industry standard AVID Venue Series & Midas Pro Series among other digital and analog mixing solutions.
If we don’t already own it, we will find it and supply it for your event.
